Lauren Selman is an American film and live event producer. With over a decade in the entertainment industry, she has worked on The Academy Awards, The Primetime Emmys, Olympics, Golden Globe Awards, Riot Games, BlizzCon, Teen Choice Awards, Cirque Du Soliel and with the Southern California Grantmakers.
From large events to live broadcasts, Lauren is experienced and prepared to execute and manage projects on time and on budget. She particularly enjoys working with teams that like the push the envelope.
Beyond production, Lauren is passionate about education, leadership and motivating individuals and teams to work together, stay organized and reach their goals. She is a triple TEDx speaker and has spoken at the United Nations Association, the National Alliance of Hazardous Waste Managers, Association of Film Commissioners International, UCLA and other colleges and universities around the world.
In 2008, she founded of Reel Green Media, LLC, an environmental consulting and production company based in Los Angeles. While Reel Green is no longer open, her pioneering efforts to "green" Hollywood were captured in Miranda Bailey's debut documentary, Greenlit, which premiered at SXSW in 2008. Lauren was nominated as a Woman Making A Difference by the Los Angeles Business Journal and received an Environmental Media Award for the environmental work on Benjamin and Peter Bratt's "La Mission" and her work has been recognized by The BBC, NPR, Business Week, IATSE, and The Hollywood Reporter.
Lauren is an honors graduate from University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Conservation Resource Studies and a BA in Theater Performance Studies. Lauren is also a competitive triathlete and swing and salsa dancer.
